The Martial Band of Sapezal is an extracurricular activity with an emphasis on musical education. Musical activity is an important factor for the social and cultural development of the human being, especially of children and adolescents, as it enables the development and strengthening of logical-mathematical reasoning, aesthetic sense, sound and spatial perception, and motor and Inventive capacity. The purpose is also to rescue cultural values, respect, love of the homeland, ethics, moral formation, among others.
